The Beginning

My name is Molly and I was born on September 4, 2003 and lived on a farm in Kansas.  In November of 2003 this amazing women took me in as her new baby.  We lived in Colorado Springs and the drive to my new home was scary.  I pee'd and vomited on her and she just smiled and cleaned me up.  I knew this was going to be the best adventure of my life.

​Once we got home she had a kennel for me to sleep in, I wasn't too happy about that but it only lasted a night or two then I was sleeping in the big comfortable bed with mom.  She had to leave for long hours during the day and I stayed in the kennel until she trusted me to be alone in the house.  I wanted to please her so much and potty trained in a day.  I didn't want to go to the bathroom in the house because I was all about pleasing my new mom.

​About 3 months later she brought home a smaller dog that was 8 weeks old.  Her name is Gracie and she was a black Dachshund.  She was scared too and I told her it was a good life and not to be afraid.  Gracie needed my help so I showed her the ropes.  She wasn't as good about potty training but she finally got the hang of it.  We kept each other company when mom was away and we both got to sleep in the big bed.
